Captive Adaptations

Captive Adaptations wishes each of you a Sweet Valentine’s day.

The twists and turns of a nearly 18 month saga, came to a “happily everafter” conclusion today. Yes, the sound of the wedding bells are still ringing in my ears, and there is a sense of satisfaction to see one of my closet friend lead a melodramatic string of events to a graceful new beginning.

Of course, time landed yours truly a cameo role, and I am proud that I was in a deal clinchers position, and as tears trickled down the eyes of the bride and her parents just a few minutes before the Muhurtham, there were emotional undercurrents to all those closely involved, and I must admit for a few moments I was overwhelmed with it, not withstanding the fragility of relationships it reaffirmed my faith that endurance prevails over ego.

“Marriages are made in heaven”, its just that if you try to follow the norms in the midst of human egos, you have to REMAKE it !!
